British Airways World Cargo has added an extra weekly freighter service to Chicago in response to commercial demand.
As part of the carrier’s summer schedule, the additional Boeing 747-400F service doubles BA World Cargo’s weekly frequency to and from Chicago.
It will route Stansted – Frankfurt – Chicago – Atlanta and gives customers the choice of sending freight on a day three service, in addition to the existing day six service – which routes Stansted – Frankfurt – Chicago – Houston.
David Shepherd, senior vice president, Europe and the Americas, BA World Cargo said: “This new flight has been implemented in response to customer demand in the region. It will give our customers greater flexibility by increasing the range of main deck freight options available, especially to the Middle East.”
