Sunday 24th Sep 2017 - Logistics & Supply Chain

Your chance to see our Web TV debate

A record number of supply chain professionals tuned in to our latest web TV debate on Sales and Operations Planning and it is now available for you to view online.

This web TV debate, organised by Supply Chain Standard in association with Oracle, looked at the critical challenges to creating an effective S&OP process – ownership, increasing supply chain complexity and the frequency and the granularity or the planning process. According to AMR Research, while 86 per cent of companies have an S&OP process, only 13 per cent of companies maximise the full potential of the process.

Speakers included:

Dave Anning, director, global supply chain at Smiths Medical

Andrew Spence, business development director, supply chain management at Oracle.

Dr Janet Godsell, senior research fellow – logistics and supply chain management at Cranfield University School of Management.

Andrew Wright, director, Deloitte UK Supply Chain Strategy practice.
