IT integration from DB Schenker

DB Schenker Marine Parts, the air freight service for parts supply to ships, is offering a direct integration between the client’s procurement system and DB Schenker’s online inventory management system.

When the client sends a purchase order to a vendor, the details will automatically be uploaded in MyMPS on order line level. “We can then send status update messages back into the client’s procurement system,” said Helge Jensen, product management EMEA.

Target groups for this service are ship owners, fleet managers, manufacturers of marine parts, shipyards, shipbuilders, and maintenance, repair & overhaul providers.
