BSI targets risk in food supply chain

BSI Supply Chain Services and Solutions has released new food safety and fraud intelligence and assessment management modules designed to allow users to monitor and assess the threat of food contamination, food adulteration, mislabelling, recalls and otherwise deceptive food and beverage products.

The modules are part of SCREEN, BSI’s Supply Chain Risk Exposure Evaluation Network.

The Food Module provides real-time updates regarding food-related incidents, such as contamination, food fraud, food safety, forced labour, natural disasters, theft, smuggling and more, to help users monitor and proactively manage potential supply chain exposures.

BSI has also released a Supplier Compliance Manager Food Module to help food manufacturers and retailers assess the quality, safety and security of their supply chain and business partners.
