DHL Express has partnered with the Russian Export Centre to boost e-commerce and exporting in Russia.
The partnership will involve special prices for express-delivery services, alongside informational and consulting support to exporters, and the integration of DHL experts into REC’s educational modules for exporters.
“As an international company, we see our mission also in developing international trade,” said Anna Klinskova, DHL Express Russia vice president for sales and marketing. “Providing express delivery and customs clearance in more than 220 countries and territories of the world, we have gained significant expertise and unique tools to assist companies who wish to expand the geographical reach of their goods.
“Here we see a huge potential of Russian business in reaching overseas markets using e-commerce tools. Our partnership with REC is part of our continuing efforts to make a contribution in international trade and to support SMEs and exporting companies”
Mikhail Mamonov, managing director of international projects at Russian Export Centre: “Cost and transit time are crucial for development of Russian retail export. We are very pleased that DHL, one of worldwide leaders of express delivery market, can provide the opportunity to export at a reduced cost but with the same quality and time. This measure will let exporters grow the share of international shipments. Russian Export Centre, from its part will do everything possible to eliminate other barriers for exporting goods, which will allow growing non-resource based export in Russia.”
