DPD Germany starts operations at Nagold DC

DPD Germany has started operations at its new €30 million, 613,000 sq ft parcel distribution centre in Nagold, near Stuttgart. The site will sort and distribute around 37,000 parcels daily, with a workforce of 300.

“Our new depot in Nagold is representative of DPD’s strong growth”, said DPD CEO Boris Winkelmann. “As soon as it begins its operations Nagold will be one of our most important hubs in the south of Germany. Our investment is creating jobs with a secure future and making an important contribution to ensuring that we can maintain the pace of our growth.”

The facility is located on the INGpark Nagold Gäu business park, run by the municipality of Nagold with six nearby towns.
