Rhenus launches South Korea business

Rhenus has opened its first office in Seoul, South Korea focusing on sea and airfreight operations, third party logistics and domestic transport services in future.

Rhenus starts new South Korea business. “The primary motive for opening the business site in South Korea is to continue consolidating our Asian network; we’ve been continually expanding this during the past few years,” said Tobias Bartz, responsible for Rhenus’ Asian business. “Seoul forms the centre of South Korea and is the focal point of the Sudogwon metropolitan district.

“More than 25 million people live there and this accounts for half of the population of the country; it therefore provides an excellent starting point for our range of logistics solutions.”
