Brewer SABMiller has hired Philip Hodges to take on the newly-created role of group director, integrated supply. He was most recently senior vice president integrated supply chain at Mondelez Europe.
He takes up the post on 1st December in succession to Tony van Kralingen, who is retiring. Van Kralingen’s role as director of integrated supply and human resources is being split.
Last month Johann Nel was appointed group human resources director.
Hodges joined Mondelez International in 1991 and has held a number of leadership roles in international supply chain, finance and strategy, customer service, and logistics across Europe, Latin America and Asia. He was appointed to his current role in 2011, having previously been vice president of integrated supply chain coffee Europe.
