The Welsh Automotive Forum (WAF) is helping set up a supplier team to assist with the building of the new Aston Martin DBX in wales. The £160,000 electric car will be built in St. Athan, Wales.
“The local and UK economic impact and global PR of this substantial investment has naturally attracted a great deal of attention with many Member Companies enquiring as to how they can get involved,” said WAF CEO Tim Williams.
“I would like to advise all Members that I am working with Welsh Government officials and Industry Wales with the aim of establishing a special AM team.
“I know that some Members already have an existing relationship with AM which is great, however, the intention is to create a special AM team to help fully understand AM’s supply chain and service needs and to ensure that Members are introduced effectively.”
